The moment has finally arrived! After a three-year break, Germany's most popular and highest-paying billboard competition in the outdoor advertising industry—the BEST 18/1 Award—has returned. And not only were we part of it, but we are also proud to announce that we emerged as the shining winners of this competition. A moment that means more to us than words can express.

What Happened at the 18/1 Award Ceremony?

On September 21, 2023, after a pandemic-related three-year hiatus, the BEST 18/1 Award was once again presented. During a live voting session attended by nearly 800 guests, our billboard campaign "BOWLJOB FOR FREE" was voted the best in its category, significantly helping us in promoting our vision.

A jury of industry experts selected the top ten outstanding designs from over 240 submissions. For the first time, participants were also challenged to create billboard designs in both the 8/1 format, commonly known as the Litfaßsäule (advertising pillar), and the 4/1 format, the famous City-Light-Poster. Among the top ten finalists were prestigious brands such as Gaffel, Mövenpick, Tonin, Bite Box, Aurora, Caramba, and Share. What This Means for Us

As our CEO, Dr. Josephine Kreische, emphasized:

"Thank you for giving us this voice and the public exposure that, as a startup, we could never have achieved on our own. This is so incredible that we can barely breathe right now. And of course, ‘Bowljob for free’ is not what you might think—it simply means you get a bowl in the end. Put in whatever you want: curry, carbonara, over-salted soup, haute cuisine—we really don’t care. Then, it gets washed and used again. That is the future."

With a creative prize of €10,000 in cash and an outdoor advertising campaign worth €1,000,000, we, as a startup, now have unprecedented opportunities to expand our vision and message. This recognition motivates us even more to continue developing innovative packaging solutions and to make reusable containers the new standard for everyone.
